this thread is for all you noobs out there that dont know where your costume mod files go and hopefully oz will make this a sticky
ok lets get started:
first lets say we download melgoul's freddy kruger like costume
1st: you need to download winrar which you can type it into google then download it for free when you've done that were ready to go
2nd: download the costume and open it in winrar highlight all the files and click extract and put the files to a place you will be able to find easily
3rd: find the file- go into costumes/data then you should see the file called m_90's_1 copy this file then put it into c;) program files/ lionhead studios/ the movies/data/textures/costumes
if you do not have the last 2 folders make them
4th: find the file textures open it and go to costumes there you will see 4 files copy them and paste them into the place where you put the first file data/textures/costumes
5th: now go to the make up folder which is in the same folder as number 4 there you will see 2 files called mup_body_v19 + mup_mask_v19 copy them and paste them in c:) program files/ lionhead studios/ the movies/ data /textures /make up

ok i cant get it to work either.
its the 16 chicken cotumes(i only need 2 of em) i have copyed the 2 cotumes to this place C:\Programmer\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\textures and to this place C:\Programmer\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\textures\costumes and to this place C:\Programmer\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\textures\costumes\Chicken Costumes
but i cant get it to work i have taken the files out of theres folder so its those files i have copyed to that place : chicken_body_x0_v13.dds and chicken_body_x0_v18.dds and chicken_head_x0_v13.dds and chicken_head_x0_v18.dds and the 2 pictures,
i tryed to unpack the files to this place C:\Programmer\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\textures\costumes and then i could c them ingame and only the 2 chosen chicken cotumes wass visibel but there were also alot of uncoloured chickens i could chose,
i hope u understand what i trying to say i cant get it to work with only those 2 costumes.

if you can only see 2 and the others are not colored it means the ones with no colours the texture files are in the wrong place plz tell me where you got the costumes from and i'll download them and figure it out

ok heres what you do delete all the data you have of the chicken costumes then download it again and put it some where you can find then extract the folder some where else then open each file 1 at a time and put the chicken body and chicken head in the movies/data/textures for all of them you dont have to put the picture in as well and that should work sorry for saying that you put it in textures/costumes thats only for some costumes hope it works

no your not listening wat you do is delete all the folders eg costumes/ chicken costumes and then downlaod it then put it some where like my documents the extract the folder to my recieved files then open each folder and put the dds files in data/textures
and dont place them in 2 different places like put them in textures then costumes it wont work if you do that
it might take longer but it will work
