As many of you know, my wife recently found out that she might have to have her left kidney removed.  After many hours in the hospital yesterday, it was confirmed.  So, on April 20th, she will be having her surgery.  Between now and then, I will be getting the house ready for my inlaws visit to help me take care of my kids.  The site will continue to be updated, but my content will be limited as the only time I usually have to "Blend" is restricted to late at night.

Best wishs for your wife's surgery, and hope things go well with you Ozman, at times like these people get stressed and tend to forget about the partners/significant others.

Just got back from taking my wife to the doctor again.  Nearly punched a doctor.  Screamed profanities at anyone in the general area.  Then left.

Unlike our last visit to the hospital, they got us in quickly and some doctor guy I'd never seen before came in, poked around on my wifes stomach and side like they always do.  And that was about it for him.  Then he said that the chief resident wanted to talk to my wife, so we waited for about 30 minutes.  Then the doctor we saw last week came in.  Now realize, I already don't like this guy and now I really don't like him.  He asked a couple of normal questions and began to leave. 

At this point, I'm really wondering why I had to drag the family all the way to the hospital for what appears to be nothing done. 

That's when doctor dickhead says, "Oh, by the way, we aren't doing your surgery on Thursday.  We've pushed it to May 4th." 

I say something to the effect of, "What the fu...." and he explains that on Friday (yes Friday) they found out that someone needs to have their bladder removed and his is an emergency. 

To this I say, "Well, what the fu.. do you call what my wife has?"

Doctor Dickhead says, "Well, he could die.  Your wife has less of a chance of dying."

And I say, "#!&#!*#@*!&  *#&!&#@*#&!"

And Doctor Dickhead just stares at me.

And then I say, "Why the hell didn't you call us on Friday.  I have my mother in law flying in on Wednesday night from New York."

Doctor Dickhead shrugs his shoulders.

I don't remember what came out of my mouth that time, but then I say, "Are we through here?"

Doctor Dick says, "Yes."

To this I say, "Then get the fu.. out of my sight."

That ends my fun filled trip to the hospital.
